Do We Need Really Need More of Michael Moore?

Capitalism is evil. That is the conclusion U.S. "documentary" maker Michael Moore comes to in his latest movie "Capitalism: A Love Story," which premieres at the Venice film festival Sunday.

"Capitalism is an evil, and you cannot regulate evil," the two-hour movie concludes.

Conveniently "Capitalism: A Love Story" fails to mention it was democrats that promoted the high risk loans that led to the huge defaults. There is no mention that the institutions that enabled the bulk of these high risk loans were government institutions, not capitalist in the true sense. They were controlled by the likes of Barney Franks and Chris Dodd.

"I want my money back” (says Mr. Moore)… He should be blaming congress for giving it away.

"Democracy is not a spectator sport, it's a participatory event," he told a news conference. "If we don't participate in it, it ceases to be a democracy. So Obama will rise or fall based not so much on what he does but on what we do to support him."

(I wonder Mr. Moore, don't you mean: Communism, Socialism, Marxism?)

It's comforting to see that in true liberal fashion, a la Al Gore, Moore earns a living telling everyone else what is "evil" but somehow, does not see himself as part of that "evil".

I can't help wondering where Michael Moore would be with out "evil" Capitalism. Most likely another smelly fat dude, laying on the couch eating Cheeto's on disability because he's suffering from way too many medical problems to work.

Mr. Moore, when will you liquidates your multi million dollar fortune, sell your multiple homes and "share your wealth" with 'the people'?
