ACTION ALERT!!!! GOVERNMENT TAKE OVER OF OUR FINANCIAL SYSTEM
Barney Frank has introduced the "Financial Services Gov't Take Over Bill" last week after the members of congress left town. This is one they are trying to "slip by" while we're busy with the holidays.
This is WORSE for the United States than Health Reform and Cap and Trade!
Here are some Cliff Notes from Michelle Bachmann:
Government Financial Take Over: Government will ration credit, government will decide who get's capital and who doesn't.
This bill makes Bail Out's permanent and gives the Prez (and his Czar)the authority to make bailouts to any company-without approval from Congress.
Massive Job Killer: We will lose about 1 million jobs with this bill.

What Principles Will Liberty Candidates Support?
Economy
Strong fiscally conservative principles and beliefs that our economic recovery should be left to the free market through businesses and individuals – not the federal government. ~Peter Schiff Senate 2010 Connecticut
Personal Liberty
The Federal Government must return to its constitutionally enumerated powers and restore our inalienable rights. America can prosper, preserve personal liberty, and repel national security threats without intruding into the personal lives of its citizens. ~Rand Paul Senate 2010 Kentucky
Foreign Policy
Taken as a whole, America's current foreign policy is a grossly unconstitutional one that we cannot afford. It has put us in a situation where children born today are burdened with an impossible debt. It is premised on a twisted version of American exceptionalism which assumes we have the right to police the world without respect for the sovereignty of fellow nations. If we hope to be respected in the global community, we would be wise to heed the advice of Thomas Jefferson and seek, “peace, commerce and honest friendship with all nations - entangling alliances with none.” ~Adam Kokesh Congress 2010 New Mexico
Ending the Federal Reserve
What goes on at the Fed is a clear example of the infringement upon our liberty and national sovereignty through Congressional delegation of its authority. Now, the Fed refuses to even let us see how much and to whom our money has been loaned or how much they have indebted the American People. They do so by rightly asserting that they are a private entity and therefore do not have to comply with orders to open their books. Our Congress has completely lost control over the creation of money and credit and now we are all going to pay the price of that abrogation of their duty. ~RJ Harris Congress 2010 Oklahoma
2nd Ammendment
"To keep and bear Arms" That means, you can obtain them, keep them, and carry them. The idea that you can only have an unloaded gun in your closet under lock and key with the ammunition in a foreign country is ridiculous. Load your gun, put it in your holster, and leave the house. There is no point to keeping a gun you cannot access when you need it. If anyone has time to go home and get their gun, they probably didn't need it in the first place. ~Chris Cantwell Congress 2010 New York

The Next Step in Turning The Tide
Last week I posted a blog entitled "A Country Divided Against Itself Surely Cannot Stand". The purpose of this blog is to encourage you to speak with your Democrat friends and family. Discuss some of the hot button issues using the 20 statements I listed. And finally, tie it together by helping them understand the socialist views on those same issues.
The next step in turning the tide is to take a lesson from Obama's very successful campaign.
Obama had a huge "Social Media" advantage. Consider the following:
Close to 500 million blog postings mentioned Obama from the beginning of the conventions at the end of August through November 5th, 2008.
During the same time period, only about 150 million blog posts mentioned McCain.
Obama also held a clear lead on My Space with 844,927 "friends".
McCain had 219,404 My Space Friends.
There are 724,234 Flicker items on Barack Obama
There are 61,338 items on Flicker on John McCain
Obviously, Barack Obama crushed John McCain in all metrics, even though John McCain has been in politics FAR longer than Barack Obama. Other than George Bush, McCain was probably the best known, most interviewed, and most written about Republican politician.
So 26 years of exposure verses 4 years, Obama obliterated McCain in the Social Media landscape.
Today, Bill O'Reilly admitted he didn't even know what "Facebook" is! Pretty scary considering Bill O'Reilly has 13 "Fan Groups" on Facebook, one group with over 10,000 fans!
We can't set up a social media website for the next GOP candidate. And the odds of a Republican "James Carville" coming down the pike any time soon seem pretty slim. We do however have some "Rock Stars" of our own.
We have Sarah Palin who's uses her Facebook page like a pro and has over one million "friends".
Glenn Beck with almost 500,000 "friends" on Facebook and uses "Twitter" on a regular basis to reach out to his fan base.
But what about YOU? Do you have social network accounts? There are more of "us" than there are of "them". We need to start showing our numbers and our power.
Join Facebook, Twitter and My Space. Start building a network of friends. Facebook allows you to categories your friends. Mine are categorized by "family" and "politics".
Look for groups to join. Make friends on those groups. Then start posting on your profile and "share" with your friends. Don't be a pest. Don't harass. That will only result in being "hidden" or "un-friended".
Find one great article per day. Something you're sure they will not see on the Main Stream Media. A perfect example would be "Climategate". Many blogs and news articles have "share buttons" where you can automatically upload the articles to your profile.
The point here is we need to beat Obama and his henchmen at their own game. And that starts with educating your less informed "friends" without bashing Obama. It's not unusual for members to have 500+ friends. Imagine the impact if we all started educating the masses. We need to start now.
